My Aunt Vicky gave me this really cool book called "The Pregnancy Journal" . You have a "day to day guide to a healthy and happy pregnancy". It's been really fun for Bryson and I have a book to track with the day/week of pregnancy and read a little fact, tip, or advice for each day.
I thought I'd share a very interesting fact that I read this week:
"By the time the baby is born, the fully developed placenta covers 15-30 percent of the space inside the uterus and will weigh 5.5 pounds! The placental tissue itself weighs a mere pound and half, but it takes 4 pounds of blood to keep it functional."
and you wonder why pregnant women get so big and are hot all the time :)
Happy New Years Eve!!
