Seven Wants...

1. Monogram
Everything! I just looked at my "want" board on Pinterest and most of it is things monograms...necklaces, bags, hats, bathing suits, water bottles, rings, rocking chairs, pillows and the list goes on! My friend Amanda and I have this on-going "send a pin" to each other of anything monogrammed. Haha!

2. Dance Party
Lately I've just wanted a good ole fashion college dance party. I actually told Bryson the other day "I just want to go dance at a club, but I don't want nasty guys looking at me and my friends or I don't want them to try and dance with us!" Haha! Karaoke and a dance party would be fun too.

3. Half Marathon
I took a chance and entered win the lottery for a spot in the Aaramco half marathon....and won! I don't particularly like to run, but have always wanted to complete a half marathon. So here is my chance and here is to healthy and strong training!

4. These tank tops
Also in my "want" or "clothes" boards on Pinterest are these clever sporty tank tops! They are hilarious and I want them ALL!

5. To not yell so much
So I'm sorta a yeller, sometimes or a lot of the times when I get frustrated with my kids! I absolutely hate it when I lose my self control and start barking orders or yelling bc they are disobeying! Ugh! Hate it!

6. A garden
I dream of growing all or most of our veggies and herbs! I know it's a lot of work but would love to try it some day. Currently I grow green onions. Only green onions! Haha! But I'm hoping to expand to basil and one other soon!

7. Shellac nails
I know this is silly but I've been wanting to get a shellac manicure. I rarely get a pedicure or a manicure. I'd rather spend that $30 on a new shirt or on a date night. But maybe for my birthday coming up ill treat myself!

Back to the challenge:

Eight Fears:

1. The dark!! Y'all I'm a baby and sleep with a night light. In a hotel Im totally fine and love how dark it is, but at home bring on a night light! Bryson hates the extra light but I need to see if I'm getting up in the night with kids or V is going potty or if some one breaks in at night I need to see then ;)

2. Someone breaking in to our home/coming in my house and hurting us. This is the real reason for the above fear for needing a night light. We live in a crazy world and anything can happen. Being a stay at home mom this is a big fear of mine of someone breaking in (while we are home) and hurting us. Some days my fear is big some days it's non existence. Some days I have to pray a lot and place all my trust in God that no matter what He is in control and only God is where my trust is, not in the safety/protection of my home.

3. Cockroaches. I've had bad run-ins with cockroaches!!!! They run SO fast and gross looking and huge!! I just don't like them...or the crunch they make when killing them! Yuck!!

4. Storms. Yup another reason I'm a wimp. If I'm with a group of people or Bryson's during a storm I'm ok. By myself...not okay!! I'm always fearful a tornado or hurricane is going to tear my house down or flood us...which might happen!

5. Getting out of shape. I know this is a little silly, but I'm afraid that one day I'll be  middle aged, out of breath and stuffing myself in to jeans that are way to tight. I've seen this happen A LOT that people in their 30s-60s just let life get in the way and don't take care of their health! I will try very hard to be active and healthy for a lifetime.

6. Roller coasters! I'm definitely not a daredevil. I would go to Astroworld with my friends and not ride the rides because I was too scared! Haha! Not until probably when I was almost a senior in high school did I get on a roller coaster!

7. Flying. This one is a little silly because I have been on an airplane A LOT!! But every time I have a mini panic attack inside thinking about crashing, what to do if we crash, terrorist on a plane, bomb in the airport, getting kid napped etc. Then I have to take a deep breath, say a prayer and relax.

8. "Bad things" happening to my family. I know inevitably there will be some bad things that happen in everyone's life but I hope that it's not big bad things. I pray that my family stays healthy and safe often. I also pray that no matter what happens I know our world fallen and  that God has a bigger plan than I know and he will see us through all things.

I'm 30 mins early to a meeting, but it was one of those days where leaving the house by myself was much needed! To continue with the 10 day challenge...

Nine loves (no particular order or theme)

1. I love food!!! I love tasting food and eating it and cooking it! I have never been very picky so I'll eat anything and any type! Bring it on!

8. I love bed and breakfasts. The four that I have been too have all been so nice! They are homey and have delicious food!

9. I love water! Swimming has always been a favorite past time. I was on swim team for 6 years growing up and still love a good swim workout. (Though its been a few years!) I love drinking water too! It's just so good for you and makes me feel better when I'm hydrated.

On a blog I've been following (PBfingers) she recently did a 10 day challenge. It is sorta like a survey form, and I love a good survey! I can't promise I will post each challenge every single day, but I will get through all of them...eventually!

1. In first grade I hid my spelling list under my sweater and cheated on my spelling test

2. I never took the SATs

3. My right foot is 1/2 inch smaller than my left foot

4. If B would let me I would totally still sleep with my baby blanket! It's so soft and comforting!

5. I'm terrible at math

6. I love to read and sadly don't make as much time as I would like to actually read

7. In college I didn't take showers that often...oops! Once I went 4 days without one (okay that's not really that long but still)

8. I would love to live in a small town or the country for a few years

9. I eat Spam and like it

10. I gave myself a 3rd ear piercing when I was 18 and showed my mom. She then wanted her 2nd ear piercing and let me do it for her
