Violet says....

Lately Violet's imagination, creativity and language development has been exploding!!

Imagination: she plays pretend a lot! Putting her dolls to sleep, feeding them or nursing them (just like momma!) She loves to pretend to pop bubbles and catch baloons and climb ladders! Some days she plays in her room for a long time by herself with her cars and train set.

Creativity: like I have blogged about before, Violet loves her projects. My mom bought her a Kumon sticker and paste book. We spent an hour basically completing the whole book. She loves the one on one time with me and she stays so focused! I love seeing her create!

Language: She is talking non stop! Sometimes we still can't understand her, but for the most part we can. She sings songs a lot too. Her current favorites are: Texas Our Texas, the Dora the Explorer theme song, Jesus Loves Me and Do a dear. Here are some things she is saying:

-While nursing she looks at me and says "Parkey eat momma's chest"

-Pointing to my csection scar "Momma's boo boo all better! Me in there! I cut out!"

-"when I older I turn back to a baby"

-playing in the porch looking at the tree swaying the wind "go away windy go away!"

-whats your brothers name "Parkey big guy owden"

-"no hitting, no pushing Jesus"

-while pointing to a beer "when I older I like beer"

-me "violet we're going to go see the doctor today" she looks shocked runs to Parker and says "Par-ta you go with me???"

-me "mommy loves Violet and mommy loves Parker. Who does Violet love?? Violet "Jesus!!!!"
