Saturday

This Saturday started with a family snuggle. Apparently (as told by Violet), Parker went in her room this morning and sat on her bed until she woke up. "He was sitting there when I woke up" and they came in at 6:30am...oh weekends!

Anyways B and I are at an out of town wedding and enjoying a kid free 24hrs.  We stopped in East Bernard for lunch at Vinceks Smokehouse.  My friend Cindy grew up there and recommened this place....and it does not disappoint! It's a little hometown favorite and really good! We has their chop beef sandwich, sausage, potato salad and a pumpkin kolache. Omg! So good!

So the hotel we are staying at is new...like brand new. It's very nice and cleane. When we came to the second floor where our room is, they are literally putting the other beds together. Our bed/room was already put nicely together, thankfully.

The wedding was a blast! Keeley was a girl I mentored while I worked with CRU. She also went on to work with CRU but in New York, working along side other artists and being a light of hope in a dark city. It was fun to catch up with friends and get dressed up. I love how weddings  always bring back memories of my wedding, my commitment and covenant I made with God and Bryson. It's good stuff to remember and remind myself of.

Driving to La Grange

If you didn't know I loooove to dance! And the reception had a live band (random with a fiancĂ© of a girl I went to high school with, who was in the band) and they were really good! Even Bryson's danced with me, which doesn't happen very often. I had a great time dancing, hanging fun and catching up with old friends.

Congrats Keeley and Clayton!!

Aren't they a gorgeous couple!?!?
