Sights and Sounds

The other day Bryson and I were leaving the house to go to Half Price Books, and we hear someone using a tool outside. You know, the loud kind of tools one uses outside... Anyways I just notice the sound, but I look back towards the house as I am approaching the car and see Bryson with head tilted, brow furrowed, and face with an intense look. I break the focused silence and say "What?" and he says back, "Either a router or a sander!" Again I say "What?" and Bryson replies, "that sound, it's either a router or a sander" Okay never in my life have I tried to guess what tool someone else is using based on pure sound, and I dont even know what a router is?! The tool-like sound is still in the air as we get into the car. And Bryson narrows is guess to "It couldn't be a router, because you could use it that long without the sand changing". At this point I am amazed that Bryson can identify tools this way. So down we go down the street, and sure enough we see two men sanding their front porch.

Gotta love a handyman! :)
