On Friday night I welcomed 29 with a "minute to win it" game night! My friend Kimmy had one for her birthday and I had so much fun, she passed on supplies for me to use.
These are only a few of the games we played. It was fun to be silly and enjoy time with best friends. I'm a huge fan of celebrating birthdays...especially mine! ;)
On Saturday it was really nice to sleep in. My parents had the kids so it was nice and quiet waking up at our own pace. Bryson and I got ready and had a quick breakfast at Panera before my massage appointment.
I had a prenatal massage when I was pregnant with Violet. But anyone who has had one knows a non pregnant massage is SO much better. This was my first real massage. I used a gift card I had received from Bryson from last years Mother's Day (oops!). I loved my massage! Glenda the massage therapist worked out a knot I didn't even know I had! It felt amazing! The massage envy in West University was very pleasant and a place I'd recommend!
My massage made me so tired afterwards and I (kinda) messed up Bryson's original plans. Anyways we ended up having a chill afternoon at home eating lunch and watching Harry Potter.
We met my parents and kids for dinner at a Sushi/Chinese buffet and ate to our hearts content. It was really good! And a great way to end my birthday.
Sunday we went to church and Violet and her friend Madeline were both in Nautical themed outfits! Both outfits were saved by their grandmas...(Allison and I wore these when we were little!)
That evening I met up with my bffs, CYP girls Kim and Kimmy at a Korean restaurant in Chinatown. Seriously good food! We sat and talked for hours! We've known each other since 7th grade and text almost daily but we still have so much to talk about!
I'm looking forward to this next year and then on to 30, flirting and thriving :)
