Celebrate

We celebrated this morning. We took our breakfast, Juan in a Million's Don Juan, to Eastside townlake. Nice cool weather and a a great breakfast taco!

We have lots to get done. If you haven't heard already, Bryson and I are staffing the New York Tribeca Summer Project!!! We will be living in the Big Apple for 6.5 weeks next door to the empire state building. The Tribeca Summer Project has 4 tracks: Art, Campus, Inner City, and Epic. In 2005 Bryson was a student on the first NY art summer project and this year he is returning as the Creative Director! He will be directing a program for about 20 college students around the US. They have all come to summer project to create a collaborative art piece and also to grow in their spiritual life. I will be staffing the Campus Track! I think there is about 30 students on the campus track, and I'll have girls group. We will be visiting several different college campuses building relationships with the students and holding events at the campus. Every week is scheduled for something/events. But all of the 4 tracks of the summer project will be working together. For example: The students I make friends with on campus will most likely be invited to the Art Track's end of the summer installation. Or the Inner City project, might need extra volunteers for a kid's event...So I'm excited all the tracks will be working separate but together on this project.

Bryson and I are both excited to live and work in New York this summer! It will definitely be a new adventure and a lot of fun!
