Dessert

I have a huge sweet tooth! I gets me into trouble sometimes! A few weeks ago I was hanging out at my friend Nikki's apartment and her sister Nina was making cake balls. Well I've never had one, but soon to find out I'd fallen in love! They are so cute and very delicious! The recipe is fairly simple too. These are the perfect little treat for a party, fun dessert, or just to gobble yourself! Here was my process. (I forgot to take pics at the beginning...)
1. Bake you choice of cake. I choose red velvet, it's my fave.
2. Let it cool and then mix with you choice of icing. I choose cream cheese. This was the messy part! I used my hands to crumble the cake and mix the icing and they were bright red after! Luckily a little soap and water did the trick.
3. Form in to balls and place on wax paper. Dont they look like meatballs?

4. Let them sit in the freezer for about 30 mins.
5. Melt chocolate. I used white chocolate almond bark. And dip/roll cake ball in the chocolate. You can add sprinkles at this time if desired. Allow chocolate to set for about 10 mins on the cake balls.

6. Eat!!

Here's the fancy/professional version on bakerella :)
