It was SO much easier than I thought it would be!! I'm so glad I wrote out all my meals so I could quickly look and then get them out!
Here is what my day looked like:
Each meal is spaced out about an hour from the next. You can gauge it yourself but the program guide suggests to do hour intervals. I stayed home day 1 because I thought I'd be "running to the bathroom" if you know what I mean. But this was not the case at all (at least for me). I was "regular" and glad I wasn't "running to the bathroom".
I normally eat fruit and veggies so I liked what I ate and glad the food I do like are on the list to choose from. I did miss the taste of coffee, since I normally have a small cup every morning. But the optional green tea was good for me too.
I had my usual Shakeology for breakfast. And choose strawberries for my fruit option. You get 12 medium strawberries! Y'all that's a lot. So I snacked all morning on those!
For my mid morning meal it was fiber sweep. It's filled with chia seeds, flax seed and psyllium husks. So super high fiber and omega 3s. (This is why I thought I'd be "running to the bathroom") Anyways I read a couple reviews and ask other Beachbody coaches who have done the refresh and took their advice. Use really really cold water (10-12oz) stir really well an just chug. I left a cup of water in the freezer for 10 mins then added the fiber sweep, stirred an chugged. It sorta has a slight citrus flavor and it is not horrible.
I did feel slightly hungry at times, but I would drink more water and then it was about time to eat my meal or drink a shake. The Vanilla Fresh has 20 grams of protein was is really filling. I had it twice a day (lunch and dinner) a long with my fruit and veggie option. Since I know myself and its hard with kids to actually sit down and eat. For lunch I would eat my fruit and veggie with them, then after naps I drank the Vanilla Fresh. It helped spread out my food and kept me satisfied. I did the same at dinner..ate my salsa with the family, then had the vanilla refresh after they went to bed.
I felt good all day. Never felt starving. Had energy, slept great and ready to start day 2!
