3 Day Refresh - Day 2

I woke up hungry! I went quickly to the kitchen drank water and made a yummy chocolate Shakeology for breakfast. And felt much better. Then I are my fruit option for breakfast with the kids. 

Since I knew I was not  "running to the bathroom" I decided actually leave the house today. So I quickly packed my fruit and veggies and planned to drink the Vanilla Fresh when we got home. I mixed up and drank the Fiber Sweep (I thought it was better tasting today) and headed out the door. 

My kids played and ate lunch at chickfila. Yum!!!!!!! This was hard bc I like chickfila!! I drank a lot of water while we were there and at the carrots and hummus I packed. I actually forgot my fruit But we stopped at a friends house and I snagged a 1/2 banana (thanks Liz!!)  that I knew I could have instead of the strawberries. When we got home I made the Vanilla fresh with Mexican vanilla and cinnamon...it was SO good! And I felt great so I added a 30 min Yoga Fix video.

Evening went as planned, but I decided to go with the spinach salad rather than the planned stir fry. It was a rough night getting the kids to bed and to keep them in bed last night. I was pretty cranky and feeling hungry too! I drank my last vanilla fresh around 9pm, and felt more satisfied. 

Day 2 Meal plan 


Things I learned: 
-Water! Water! Water! It makes you feel full when you are eating low calories during the 3 day refresh! 

-The tea is optional, but I liked having it to pass some time before I ate again. 

-Make sure you have read the guide. Like I said earlier I forgot my fruit (but knew from writing out my meals and reading the guide) I could have another fruit. So very important to know the guide and be flexible if you need to make changes. 

-I don't think this is cheating but I choose  my food choices depending on the amount of actual food is would eat. Does that make sense? Like 12 strawberries sounds so much more filling then 1/2 banana. It's a mind game that you are eating more than you think. 

-Spread out your shakes and actual food. It extends the times but also keeps you eating and drinking so your not as hungry. 

-If you feel cranky or "hangry" make sure you have had all your food and shakes. If its just unbearable add more veggies rather than the fruit. Try try try to stay with the program! But if you just need to eat something try for a veggie and a healthy fat. 


One more day!!!! Let's do this!!

You go girl!! You are rocking this. And I love your point about the mind tricks. Totally agree. I would take 12 strawberries over half a banana ANY day too.
