We had a wonderful wonderful visit in San Angelo with Bryson's family. Yes, the main reason we were there was because Bryson's dad was having surgery, but regardless it was still a good time! It was so fun to see Violet interact with her cousins. We dont have any friends around us with kids, but she is always curious of babies/kids when we go to the store. She had a great time! It made me realize I really need to get her some interaction with other kids and me with other moms!
Brian is doing well. He stayed one night at the hospital and released the following afternoon. They shaved what looks like a "headband" so he has most of his hair. He is was feeling pretty tired and his eyes are swollen. But other than that he is recovering fine. His battery pack/pace maker (part 2 of the surgery) will be this next Monday. Thanks again for all the prayers. We are all so thankful!
Though we had a long drive home yesterday, we made a little stop in Austin to see my friend Kim and her new baby Charlie! Oh he is so sweet and we know he and Violet will be perfect together! :)
And then before we actually able to rest at home we went and signed our lease at our new apartment!! We couldn't be more excited! The place is perfect!! I'll have to blog about that soon! we move this weekend!
