Summertime

Today was a really good summertime Saturday. Most weekends go by way to fast, but today was productive, challenging and relaxing. It just felt like summer.

The kids woke up way to early to mention and Bryson cooked us migas for breakfast. 

See those tiny Serranos in the top corner. They were soooo spicy! 

We ran to target together in hopes to buy kitchen curtains, but they didn't have any. So we returned home. Parker normally takes one nap but lately he just can make it and is tired by 10am. He napped and Violet watched one show. 

Here's the challenging part...Bryson and I had a discussion (some may say argument) just about normal life things. I can't help it, but I cry everytime we argue. I guess I'm just sensitive. It's annoying to be because then I can't talk or think straight. Anyways we worked it out. 

We decided to soak up the sun and go swimming! It was pretty breezing this afternoon so it was nice in the shade. 

Lunch outside and Violet is being dramatic. 

And I know I don't need a tan, but I like to have a good summer glow. So I soaked up a few rays...

After playing in the sun everyone took a nap. I ran to the store once Violet woke up to get a few things for dinner. I normally grocery shop during the weekday with both kids. It was a learning process but totally doable! I went by myself and it was so nice to browse and take my time. We are dinner shortly after I came home 

Super yummy! Bacon cheddar sliders, Cheetos, strawberries and baked jalapeño poppers! 

It's only 7:45 pm and both kids are already in bed due to a meltdown after dinner. But the night is young, Cheers!
