Back to School

We are officially back at school! Violet started preschool K4 this year. She is very happy to be at school but it has taken a little more transition than last year. She is going more days and more hours and well it's just different. While she loves learning and being with kids she has been a wreck at home! She hasn't been nice, has tummy troubles and had asked to stay home from school. It's sad but I think now that she has gone a full week and a half she is getting use to the new schedule...and hasn't asked to stay home.

A new thing for V at school is taking naps. Last year she went half days and would nap at home. This is the first time for her to take a nap somewhere other than home. I bribed her with a prize if she did take a nap and finally she did!! Today she told me naptime was her favorite at school! Haha! 

I think Parker is enjoying the time without his sister at home. He plays really great by himself and well frankly he doesn't have the need to bother anyone. He learns very differently than Violet so I'm still trying to discover ways to teach him.

While I know my kids love each other, they have been fighting SO much lately! I feel like all I've been doing is yelling or putting them in time outs! It's very exhausting. They'll get along eventually right?? 

We are excited about this school year and are starting to figure out about kindergarten next year already. Time really does fly!
