I was so excited to wear my "new" boots!
Bryson is from a small West Texas town that has a small rodeo, so he was in shock at the size of the Houston Rodeo. I haven't been since I was in Jr. High and never in Reliant, so I was really excited! I loved watching the chuck wagon races, bull riding and most of all Mutton Bustin'! (they put 5 and 6 year olds on sheep and see how long the kids can hang on! it's hilarious and the kids are too cute!)Thursday nights concert was Rascal Flatts! And we were all so excited to see them! We had perfect seats, about 15 rows from the bottom, so you could actually see the performers faces! It was awesome! Rascal Flatts were celebrating 10 years of playing together so they played a lot of their old stuff. We had a great time singing along with the band! Such a fun night!
Rodeo Round 2:
As mentioned before B got tickets for our two picks...which happened to be Lady Antebellum on Friday night! We headed back to the Rodeo, but this time with other friends Kim and Nick Kim is a HUGE animal lover so we made a stop at the livestock part...and petting zoo!
Our new friend the llama!
Once we made our way into the stadium we found our seats were even closer than the night before! About 10 rows from the bottom! We enjoyed the rodeo events once more, which make me want to be a real cowgirl! Lady Antebellum came on to a packed stadium! They really put on a great show!! Hillary Scott even waved at us!! (well sorta, i'm sure a lot of people think that, but she totally did!)
The piano was so beautiful!
It was a fun two days to hangout with friends, listen to good music and enjoy the Rodeo life! Yeehaw!
